Al-Amthal shows social commitment for education sector

Al-Amthal firmly believes in its social responsibility to society from which it takes its nourishment. Hence, our participation in activities that benefit the development of education and training are taken very seriously.

In this respect, Al-Amthal’s GM-HR and Quality Management System Coordinator, Mrs. Beate Schoek-Awachi, took part in an international expert panel consisting of industry professionals and academics from Bahrain (3), Cyprus (1), Ireland (3) and the United Kingdom (2) that visited Bahrain Polytechnic for 4 days (January 12 – 15, 2015) to validate Bachelor degree programmes in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and Web Media within the Faculty of Engineering, Design and ICT (EDICT) at Bahrain Polytechnic. The purpose of the validation visit was to review the Polytechnic’s ICT & Web Media programmes appropriateness to market needs and compliance with international standards as well as to seek recommendations for possible improvement.
